Health Information and Resources
Objective(s)
To source and distribute accessible patient information and resources in a timely manner to staff and service users within North Highland.
In partnership with organisations stock, distribute and audit a large number of patient-facing resources, ensuring these are accurate, up-to-date and of high quality.
Administration and delivery of free condom by post scheme, sexual health kits by post, vitamin distribution, free period products and colostrum harvesting
Update the Directory of service in partnership with the Third secor Interface

Activities
- Stock, distribute and audit usage of patient and staff information resources within North Highland.
- Arrange for up-date of resources as necessary.
- Source replacements/new resources for staff as required.
- Provide support for events such as pride, job fares and awareness raising sessions
- Stock, distribute and audit a number of projects in Highland: condom distribution; free period products on behalf of Highland Council; vitamin D supplements and colostrum harvesting.
- Manage the HPAC system for Highland ensuring all resources are available for staff to order from a number of statutory and third sector organisations.
- Up-date the directory of service and reach out to organisations to ensure still active
Governance
- Currently no identified governance or reporting route.
Performance Measures/Outcomes
- Ongoing audit is in place to accurately report on where resources are being distributed and numbers being used.
