- Support the delivery of NHS Highland’s sexual health strategy and action plan:
- Review evidence and policy.
- Support a self-assessment against Sexual Health Standards.
- Develop and implement a robust data collection framework.
- Undertake a mapping exercise of support services.
- Develop a Sexual Health action plan of priorities.

- Review and develop condom distribution schemes across NHS Highland and develop an accessible framework for adults at risk and young people.
- Stock, distribute and audit condom distribution within North Highland.

Improve access to and uptake of Long-Acting Reversible Contraception.

Activities
- Review LARC prescribing rates across NHS Highland and develop an accessible framework.
- Develop and deliver a pilot for increasing uptake of contraception in post-partum period.
- Ensure choice and timely access to postnatal contraception following birth.
- Improve and promote postnatal contraception education for frontline staff.
- Improve and promote contraceptive antenatal education during pregnancy.
- Collaborate with maternity and sexual health services to ensure healthcare professionals are trained in Long-Acting Reversible Contraception (LARC) within maternity care setting.
- Investigate and improve routine data, including auditing and reporting on project data.
