Reduce rates of suicide

Objective(s)

Increase confidence, knowledge and skills around suicide prevention and suicide awareness across Highland.

Activities

  • Deliver 30+ Suicide Intervention and Prevention Programme (SIPP) courses per year.
  • Support and coordinate SIPP training, including trainer recruitment and retention, updating learning and administration on behalf of the Highland Community Planning Partnership.
  • Monitor the use of the Highland Prevent Suicide App and ensure it is up to date and current.
  • Promote available resources to support suicide prevention work.
  • Support the work of the Distress and Crisis Steering Group.

  • Population Health Programme Board.
  • Mental Health Delivery Group / Highland Community Planning Partnership

  • No of courses/participants.
  • No of Evaluations.
  • No of Trainers.
  • No of reports.
  • Numbers accessing Highland Prevent suicide app and length of time spent on the app.
